Dawnfresh Seafoods Celebrate Apprenticeship Week

Our Managing Director Kellie Zdanowicz was a guest of Dawnfresh this morning along with Jamie Hepburn Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills, representatives of SDS and Scottish Government.  The event was to celebrate Scottish Modern Apprenticeship week as the firm is committed to delivery of the Apprenticeship family from career entry to Graduate level qualifications.  Kellie described the meeting as another success in reinforcing the employer’s commitment to lifelong learning and the success of working in partnership.

Dawnfresh is one of the UK’s largest producers of fish and seafood.  They are based in Scotland and produce for food service and retail in the UK and internationally.

This last year has been particularly successful for Dawnfresh and JB Management as learner Jordan Fairlamb won Scottish Apprentice of the year 2019.  Jordan’s Assessor John McKenna described Jordan as an excellent example of how young people can go into an organisation and add value.  Jordan has now progressed to a Graduate Apprenticeship in Management at university.
